Progressive Semiconductor Solutions LLC has revived its sole litigation campaign with a complaint against Broadcom (8:15-cv-02076), filed in the Central District of California roughly one year after the last action settled. Progressive Semiconductor is a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation. The complaint asserts a single patent (6,862,208) against certain Broadcom chips (identifying the BCM4334 chip as an example), alleging that they comprise a memory device with identified components, including a self-timed latch, arranged in an infringing manner.
