Named inventor Xiaohua Huang continues to file litigation pro se, most recently suing Wells Fargo (3:19-cv-01857) over the provision of networking routers, switches, and data center switches to build a network among its branches and ATM platform. The accused devices were allegedly provided by Cisco, Dell, D-Link, Ericsson, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Juniper Networks, NETGEAR, and ZTE, with Huang’s complaint listing specific accused devices for each of those companies. Huang began this campaign by suing Huawei in the Eastern District of Texas, which has received a motion to sanction the plaintiff for vexatious litigation practices in the wake of multiple appeals and cases, some of them refiled over the exact same patents and issues ended in the prior litigation. The patents are generally related to content addressable memory.
