Cellport Systems filed six separate suits against HTC, Kyocera, LG, Nokia, Pantech, and Samsungalleging that the defendants’ cell phone products infringe a patent related to a communications system in mobile devices (6,122,514). Cellport first asserted the ’514 patent in a prior suit against ZTE in December 2012. Cellport Systems has filed four prior suits since January 2004 asserting different patents against Henryk Bury Mielec Sp.z.o.o, Peiker Acustic, Porsche, and THB.
