Sentegra, LLC, an operating company that appears to focus primarily on monetizing its intellectual property, filed its first suit of 2015 against LG Electronics (LGE) (1:15-cv-01535). The patent-in-suit was developed by Sentegra and concerns a wireless device capable of making secure transactions (8,706,627). LGE’s mobile devices are accused of infringing the asserted patent. According to USPTO records, this patent is the only to have issued to Sentegra. It also owns a published patent application related to providing targeted advertising. Jon Shore, founder and CEO of Sentegra, is the named inventor on both the issued patent and the published patent application.
