Mosaid filed four separate suits against NXP Semiconductors, ST-Ericsson, STMicroelectronics, and Xilinx, alleging that the defendants’ processors, mobile products, microcontrollers, communications equipment, and system-on-chip devices infringe five to eight patents (depending on the defendant) related to integrated circuits, processing and various related semiconductor technologies. Four patents exclusively licensed from Agere are included in each of the four cases, and each case also includes additional patents that vary by defendant. 11/5, Eastern District of Texas, Judge Leonard Davis, 6:2012cv00845; 6:2012cv00846; 6:2012cv00847; 6:2012cv00848.
