Patent Harbor filed four separate suits against P&F, ASUS, Fujitsu, and Lenovo alleging infringement of a patent related to video content navigation (5,684,514). The first suit, filed against P&F and its parent company Funai Electric on January 3, 2013, alleges infringement through a Philips-branded DVD recorder manufactured by Funai Electric and imported and distributed by P&F. The other three suits, filed against the remaining defendants on January 4, 2013, allege infringement of Fujitsu’s LifeBook T902 Tablet PC, Lenovo’s ThinkPad E430 laptop, and the ASUS N76VJ laptop. Patent Harbor has filed approximately 10 prior suits since July 2010 against multiple defendants includingBest Buy,LG,Panasonic, Philips,Samsung,Sharp,Toshiba,and Vizio. A number of suits filed by Patent Harbor against several media production and distribution companies have been dismissed.
