Two weeks after beginning its first litigation campaign, Fellowship Filtering Technologies, LLC filed suit against Baidu (2:15-cv-01090), Callidus Software (2:15-cv-01107), Cloudera (2:15-cv-01093), eHarmony (2:15-cv-01098), NetSuite (2:15-cv-01106), Oracle (2:15-cv-01045), Salesforce (2:15-cv-01108), and TIBCOSoftware (2:15-cv-01135). In all 14 of its complaints filed to date, Fellowship asserts a single patent (5,884,282) related to an automated collaborative filtering (ACF) system for making recommendations based on data collected on a website. Fellowship’s campaign is targeting products and/or services that provide or support generating product and/or content recommendations to users; accused products include database management, e-commerce, and analytics platforms, PaaS services, and online matchmaking systems. Adobe, HP, IAC (Match.com), IBM,Open Text, and SAP are active defendants in this campaign.
