March 8, 2013- WiLAN reported 2012 revenues of $88 million ($21 million in the fourth quarter). Last year, the company’s revenue totaled $106 million. WiLAN also reported that it spent a total of $25 million to acquire patent portfolios in 2012. The lion’s share of that sum was related to the Alvarion portfolio acquisition for $19 million in October. (Alvarion, an Israeli broadband provider, has been awarded 30 US patents to date.)
