ArrivalStar Files New Suits with Vehicle Tracking and Notification Patents
ArrivalStar filed 13 separate suits against HP, Allen-Edmonds, Channel Logistics, Coyote Logistics, FlightAware, FlightView, Lacoste, Nautica, New Balance, Quicksilver, S&A Distribution, Willis Shaw Express, and Xact Technology alleging that the defendants’ products and/or services that utilize tracking, shipping and messaging technologies infringe up to six patents related to GPS notification and vehicle tracking (6,486,801; 6,714,859; 6,904,359; 6,952,645; 7,030,781; 7,400,970). Since 2002, ArrivalStar has filed over 200 suits targeting a variety of retail, software, and transportation companies. The patents-in-suit were invented by Martin Kelly Jones, ArrivalStar’s founder and CEO.
