Interface IP Sues More Website Operators

March 8, 2013

Interface IP Holdings filed five separate suits against Alaska Air, CNBC, LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton, National Railroad Passenger, and Orbitz, alleging that the defendant’s websites infringe one or two patents (depending on the defendant) related to width text entry field adjustment and auto-complete suggestions (7,500,201 and 7,406,663). The patents-in-suit originated from bankrupt entity, Call-Tell, and were assigned to Interface IP Holdings in August 2010.  RPX reviewed the patents-in-suit on the open market twice, most recently (as Call-Tell 2) in October 2011.  3/7, District of Delaware, 1:13cv00373, 1:13cv00374, 1:13cv00375, 1:13cv00376, 1:13cv00377.
