IPNav’s Semcon Tech Files New Suits against Three Defendants

Semcon Tech (a plaintiff entity controlled by IPNav) filed three separate suits against GlobalFoundries, IBM, and Samsung, alleging that the defendants’ semiconductor fabrication systems and semiconductor devices infringe one to two patents (6,541,381 and 6,656,023), related to finishing processes for semiconductor components. These are the second suits filed against each of the defendants. Inventor Charles Molnar assigned 31 patents to Semcon Tech in November 2011.
