Alcorn Communications filed suit against ABN Newswire alleging that the defendant’s method for structured generation of news releases, as described via their websites, infringe two patents related to a structured news release generation and distribution system (6,289,350 and 6,363,390). Last month, Alcorn filed similar suits against eMinor and PR Newswire, and has filed a total of nine suits since May 2012. According to the complaint, Alcorn is the exclusive licensee of the patents-in-suit, which were assigned to Kolomoki Mounds in June 2010.  2/18, District of Delaware, 1:13cv00246.
