Trunqate filed suit against Peopleclick alleging that the defendant’s employee recruiting software infringes a patent related to job search and employee matching services (5,592,375). Trunqate last asserted the patent-in-suit almost a year ago to the day against HRsmart alleging infringement through the defendant’s applicant tracking solution. Since 2011, Trunqate has filed a total of five lawsuits targeting companies who use Web-based recruiting and employee management solutions, including its first patent infringement suit filed in July against Taleo and eight of Taleo’s customers who use employee recruiting software.
