Empire IP’s CreateAds filed seven more suits against Hughes Network Systems, Deluxe Corp., Charter Communication, Comcast, FarHeap Solutions, Prints Made Easy, and CenturyLink alleging that the defendants’ template-based websites infringe a patent related to the use of graphic design templates (5,535,320). This is the sixth campaign filed by CreateAds since December 2012 asserting the ’320 patent. Prior suits have targeted defendants spanning various segments, including E-commerce, online publishing, software, retailing, and Internet. CreateAds received the patents-in-suit through an assignment from Automated Reprographics Technologies to Empire IP in April 2012.
