Canatelo filed 14 separate suits against Axis Communications, Canon, Cisco, Grandstream Networks, JVC Kenwood, Logitech, Panasonic, Pelco, Bosch, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, TP-LINK Technologies, and TRENDnet alleging that the defendants’ video-based security systems and wireless network cameras infringe two patents related to a computerized video security and monitoring system (7,310,111 and 6,476,858). Canatelo last filed suit in June of 2012 against Avigilon, Nuvico, and others.
