January 9, 2013- IPNav announced the hiring of a new portfolio manager for medical patents. IPNav has previously focused the majority of its extensive litigation campaigns on e-commerce, networking, and consumer electronics targets.  However, in December, IPNav did file nine new suits (as plaintiff entity Ingeniador) against medical technology providers including McKesson, Savvis, and Toshiba Medical alleging infringement of a document publication patent acquired from Schlumberger.
