Cellport Systems Files Additional Suits against Major Mobile Device Companies
Cellport Systems filed six separate suits against HTC, Kyocera, LG, Nokia, Pantech, and Samsung alleging that the defendants’ cell phone products infringe a patent related to a communications system in mobile devices (6,122,514). Cellport first asserted the ’514 patent in a prior suit against ZTE in December 2012. Cellport Systems has filed four prior suits since January 2004 asserting different patents against Henryk Bury Mielec Sp.z.o.o, Peiker Acustic, Porsche, and THB.
