New NPE Sues Samsung and Sierra Wireless

Concinnitas filed two separate suits against Samsung and Sierra Wireless alleging infringement of a patent related to a mobile unit attachment (7,805,542). The suit against Samsung alleges infringement of the patent through its Galaxy Note, Rugby Smart, Rugby Pro, Ruby II, Galaxy Tab and Captivate Glide products. Sierra Wireless is accused of infringing the patent through its AirCard 313U. These are the first patent infringement suits initiated by Concinnitas. The patent-in-suit was invented by George Hindman in 2006. According to the complaint, Concinnitas is the owner of the patent-in-suit.
