Automated Transactions Sues Winchester Co-Operative Bank

Automated Transactions filed suit against Winchester Co-Operative Bank alleging that Winchester’s ATMs infringe 12 patents related to automated teller machines.  Automated Transactions has filed over 20 prior suits since January 2006 against more than 20 banks and financial services companies.  David Barcelou is the named inventor on all of the patents-in-suit, which he assigned to Transaction Holdings in October 2003.  According to the complaint, Automated Transactions is the exclusive licensee of the patents-in-suit.  12/19, District of Massachusetts, assigned to Judge Nathaniel M.
