Essociate filed two separate suits against Adscend Media and Voom Media alleging that the defendants’ affiliate marketing network infringes a patent related to affiliate marketing software.  Essociate has filed over 10 prior suits since May 2009.  The patent-in-suit was issued to inventors, Michael Landau and Evan Horowitz, before being assigned to Essociate in April 2001.  10/11, Central District of California, assigned to Judge Andrew J.
