CreateAds filed suit against Wix.com alleging that Wix.com’s software products and design websites infringe a patent related to the use of graphic design templates.  CreateAds has filed over 10 prior suits since November 2012.  The patent-in-suit was assigned to Empire IP by Automated Reprographic Technologies in April 2012.  RPX reviewed the patent as an open market opportunity (Frencken-Acq) in November 2010.  CreateAds is the 12^th patent assertion entity formed by Empire IP since 2011.  12/7, District of Delaware, no judge yet assigned, 1:2012cv01675.
