Pragmatus Telecom Continues Click-to-Chat Enforcement Campaign Targeting End Users
Pragmatus Telecom filed 11 separate suits against Acer, Build.com, First Data, Foot Locker, Genuine Parts Company, Georgia-Pacific, Netgear, Reed Elsevier, Saks, Seagate, and Trend Micro alleging that live chat services offered on the defendants’ websites infringe three patents related to contact center communications. Pragmatus Telecom has filed more than 50 suits since November 2011 primarily targeting downstream users of the accused technology.
