Qexez Files Three More Suits

December 6, 2012

Qexez filed three separate suits against Keynote Systems, RADCOM Equipment and Tektronix alleging that the defendants’ quality of service (QoS) systems for wireless devices infringe a patent related to QoS for IP connected mobile devices.  Qexez filed one prior case in October 2012 against JDS Uniphase, a provider of broadband and optical network components.  The patent-in-suit was assigned to Qexez by the inventors Christopher and Gregory McGregor in May 2012.  Mark Baerwaldt is the named correspondent on the assignment to Qexez, as well as the named correspondent on assignments to plaintiff entities Qaxaz, Qixiz, Quxuz and Qxzab.  RPX reviewed the patent-in-suit as an open market opportunity (Validus 3G) in October 2009.  12/4, Eastern District of Texas, assigned to Judge Rodney Gilstrap, 2:2012cv00751; 12/4, Eastern District of Texas, 2:2012cv00752, 2:2012cv00754.
