TQP Targets Hertz and Intel in Newest Suits

TQP Development, a plaintiff entity controlled by IP Navigation (IPNav), filed two separate suits against Hertz and Intel (and Intel subsidiary, Wind River Systems) alleging that the defendants’ websites infringe a patent related to encrypted data transmission. TQP has filed more than 95 suits since December 2008 against over 100 defendants. More than 85 of those suits have been filed in 2012. 11/2, Eastern District of Texas, 2:2012cv00702; 2:2012cv00703.
