Telinit Sues Rebtel and RingCentral with Patent from Allied Security Trust
Telinit Technologies filed two separate suits against Rebtel and RingCentral, alleging that the defendants’ VoIP products infringe a patent related to initiating telephone calls using a data network. Telinit filed seven prior suits earlier this month against British Telecommunications, Genband, JaJah, Match.com, M5 Networks, Microsoft, Ribbit, ShoreTel, Skype, Telefonica Europe, Trulia, Twilio, and Yahoo.
