Evolutionary Intelligence filed nine separate suits against Apple, Facebook, Foursquare, Groupon, LivingSocial, Millennial Media, Sprint Nextel, Twitter, and Yelp, alleging that the defendants’ mobile applications and websites that include location-based services infringe two patents related to data analysis within a computer network. These are the first patent infringement suits initiated by Evolutionary Intelligence.
