Credit Card Fraud Control Corporation (CCFCC), a subsidiary of Acacia Research, filed two suits against  CyberSource (a Visa subsidiary) and PayPal (an eBay subsidiary), alleging that the defendants’ fraud protection services infringe a patent related to identifying a computer with a “negative database”.  According to the complaint, CCFCC is the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit, which was issued to Fraud Control Systems.com in July 2012.  I10/17, Southern District of Florida, assigned to Judge Kenneth A.
