ArrivalStar Files Five Suits

ArrivalStar and Melvino Technologies filed five separate suits against Absolute Software, Pole Star Space Applications, GPS International Technologies, Loc-Aid Technologies, ZOS Communications, SmartDrive Systems, alleging that the defendants’ fleet management and vehicle tracking systems infringe five patents (different sets of patents were asserted against each defendant) related to GPS notification and vehicle monitoring.  Since 2006, ArrivalStar has filed more than 100 patent suits against over 200 defendants.  Martin Kelly Jones is the named inventor on the patents-in-suit and ArrivalStar’s founder and CEO.  10/16, Northern District of Illinois, assigned to Honorable Charles P.
