Charge Lion filed three separate suits against Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated Products, and Semtech, alleging that the defendants’ battery charger products infringe a patent related to alkaline battery charging.  These are the first three patent infringement suits initiated by Charge Lion.  According to the complaint, Charge Lion is the owner by assignment of the patent-in-suit; however, this has not been recorded by the USPTO.  10/12, Eastern District of Texas, no judge yet assigned, 6:2012cv00769; 6:2012cv00770; 6:2012cv00771.
