Powerline Innovations filed suit against Netgear, alleging the Netgear’s power outlet adapters and Wi-Fi access point products infringe a patent related to powerline communications.  Powerline has filed eight prior suits since August 2011 against more than 45 defendants including ASUS, Belkin, Broadcom, Cisco, Comtrend, Logitech, Motorola Mobility, Netgear,  Panasonic, Qualcomm, Sharp, STMicro and Western Digital.
