Etagz [NPE] filed suit against Do-It Corporation, alleging that the defendant’s Do-It Round Head Jig Starter Kit infringes four patents related to a CD-ROM product labeling system and a computer readable hang tag and product.  Etagz has filed over 15 prior suits since December 2009 against Garageco Toys, Jakks Pacific, Key Publishing, Marvel Entertainment, Quicksilver, Score Internet Group, and Thrust Publishing among others.  David Montague is the founder and CEO of Etagz, as well as the named inventor on the patents-in-suit, which were issued to Etagz in March 2000.  10/9, District of Utah, assigned to District Judge Clark Waddoups, 2:2012cv00944.
