Redpine Signals, a provider of WiFi chipsets and component technology, has joined the RPX client network. Founded in 2001, San Jose-based Redpine has partnered with Renasas on embedded WiFi products. Redpine offers reference designs specific to smart grid, voice over WiFi, and sensor monitoring applications and plans future LTE solutions.
