Blue Spike [NPE] filed three separate suits against BMAT Licensing, S.L., L-1 Identity Solutions, Lumidigm, and MorphoTrust USA, alleging that the defendants’ fingerprint-based biometric software and software for monitoring music infringes four patents related to monitoring and analyzing signals.  Blue Spike has filed over 45 prior suits in the Eastern District of Texas since August 2012.  9/20, Eastern District of Texas, assigned to Judge Leonard Davis, 6:2012cv00680; 6:2012cv00681; 6:2012cv00682.
