September 20, 2012 – Network World reports that Cisco is exiting the Layer 4-7 load balancer market.  According to the article, Cisco reported an 11.2% share of the $389.6 million ADC market, a 14% decrease from Q1.  F5 Networks leads the market with 48% market share and is followed by Citrix with 20%.
