July 29, 2011- The WSJ reports that Google has acquired more than 1,000 patents from IBM. The acquisition of 1,030 patent was recorded in assignments on July 11th and 12th. The patents reportedly relate to computer memory, microprocessor, server and router technologies, as well as search.
