Automated Transactions [NPE] filed suit against Mascoma Savings Bank, alleging that the defendant’s ATMs infringe 12 patents related to automated teller machines.  Automated Transactions has filed over 15 prior suits since January 2006 and has been subject to one action for declaratory judgment.  David Barcelou is the named inventor on all of the patents-in-suit, which were assigned to Transaction Holdings in 2003.  According to the complaint, Automated Transactions is the exclusive licensee of the patents-in-suit.  9/14, District of New Hampshire, no judge yet assigned, 1:2012cv00355.
