September 6, 2012 – Acacia Research announced that its subsidiary, MEMTech, entered into a license and settlement agreement with Analog Devices.  In January 2011, MEMTech filed suit against eight defendants including Analog Devices, Freescale Semiconductor, Sony, and Toyota, alleging that the defendants’ micromechanical components infringe a patent related to a micromechanical component that is suitable for mutual integration with MOS circuits.
