xCellaSave [NPE] filed two separate suits against Groupon and Living Social alleging the defendants’ smartphone applications infringe a patent related to mobile advertising.  These are the first patent infringement suits initiated by xCellaSave.  The patent-in-suit was issued on August 28, 2012; one day before the complaints were filed. 8/29, District of Delaware,1:2012cv01805, 1:2012cv01806.
