August 23, 2012- ABI Research reports that worldwide shipments of tablets in Q2 increased 36% over Q1. Apple leads the tablet market with 69% share followed by Samsung (8%), ASUS (4%), and RIM (1%). The report also notes that Dell and LG discontinued sales of tablet devices.
