August 2, 2012 – EMC and Lenovo announced a partnership to develop and sell server and storage technology, and are establishing a joint venture to sell network-attached storage systems to small and medium businesses.  Network World reports that Lenovo had the fourth largest share in China (10.5%) for the x86 server market last year, and EMC generated $297 million from China in storage products.
