Premier International Associates [NPE] filed suit against DISH Network and Echostar, alleging that the defendants’ DVR proudcts (including resident firmware and software) infringe a patent related to a list building system.  Premier International Associates has filed three prior suits since November 2005 against Acer, Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Cellco Partnership, Dell, Gateway, HP, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Motorola, Napster, Nokia, RealNetworks, Rhapsody International, Samsung, SanDisk, Sprint, Toshiba, Verizon, Viacom, and Yahoo.  The patent-in-suit originated with Premier International and was assigned to Premier International Associates (previously named Premier International Investments) in February 2005.  8/3, Northern District of Illinois, assigned to Honorable Marvin E.
