Cronos Technologies [NPE] filed a suit against Tempur-Pedic, alleging that Tempur-Pedic’s website and online ordering terminal infringes a patent related to a remote ordering system.  Cronos has filed five prior suits since April 2012 against Fossil, General Nutrition Centers, J. Crew, Nutrisystem, and Vitamin Shoppe. RPX reviewed the patent-in-suit on the open market twice, once in October 2009 (UBS) and again in November 2010 (UBS 2).  According to the complaint, Cronos is the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit, which was issued to Highpoint Systems in September 1997.  Highpoint Systems sold the patent to UBS AG in January 2006 and UBS AG assigned it to Cronos in September 2011.  7/31, Eastern District of Kentucky, assigned to Judge Joseph M.
