Affinity Labs Sues Apple and AAMP over Car Audio System

Affinity Labs of Texas [NPE] filed suit against Apple and AAMP of Florida over two patents related to methods for integrating portable digital devices into a car audio system.  Affinity Labs, founded by inventors Russel White and Harlie Frost, has filed eight prior suits against more than 20 defendants.  Affinity Labs asserted one of the patents-in-suit in its August 2008 case against KIA, Volkswagen, and Hyundai, that resulted in a damages award of $14 million.  7/26, Eastern District of Texas, 1:2011cv00349.
