Google filed an action for declaratory judgment against SourceProse [NCE] over two patents related to displaying and synchronizing map images.  In February 2011, SourceProse sued AT&T, MetroPCS, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile and Verizon,  a number of which are downstream customers of Google Map Mobile according to information provided in Google’s complaint.  The patents-in-suit were originally directed to geographic mapping of flood zones.
