Boadin Technology [NPE] filed three separate suits against Bloomberg, Dow Jones & Company, and Gannett, alleging that the defendants’ websites infringe two patents related to multi-modal mobile media services.  The patents-in-suit originated with Go2 Media and were assigned to Boadin by Aloft Media in November 2011.  Boadin has filed seven prior suits since September 2011 against Bloomberg, CNBC, Dow Jones & Company, Fox News Network, Gannett, the New York Times, and MarketWatch over different patents.  Boadin offered a perpetual covenant not to sue for its full patent portfolio at the September 2011 ICAP Patent Brokerage auction.  7/17, District of Delaware, no judge yet assigned, 1:2012cv00913; 1:2012cv00914; 1:2012cv00915.
