July 15, 2012 – Bloomberg reports that Comcast‘s NBCUniversal acquired Microsoft‘s stake in their MSNBC.com joint venture for $300 million. According to the article, Microsoft and NBC started MSNBC in 1996 and NBC acquired the news channel in 2005. The remaining Internet portion was left as a joint venture.
