Data Distribution Technologies (DDT) [NPE] filed suit against Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, alleging that Weichert’s web interface provided through its website infringes a patent related to updating and e-mailing product information to subscribers.  DDT, a client of General Patent Corporation (GPC) [NPE], has filed three prior suits since December 2011 against Kayak Software, Pricegrabber.com, and Zoolert.  According to its website, GPC is responsible for patent licensing and enforcement for over 15 NPEs including Advanced Video Technologies [NPE], Delivery Solutions [NPE], and Encryption Storage Technologies [NPE].  The patent-in-suit originated with NetSpan and was assigned to DDT in November 2010.  7/6, District of New Jersey, assigned to Judge Jose L. Linares and referred to Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer, 2:2012cv04149.
