Noise Free Wireless Sues Apple for Audience Chipsets

Noise Free Wireless filed suit against Apple and Audience, alleging that Apple’s iPhone and iPad and Audience’s chipsets used in Apple’s devices infringe a patent related to environmental noise reduction and cancellation for a communication device including a wireless and cellular telephone.  This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by Noise Free Wireless.  Alon Konchitsky and William Ribble are the named inventors on the patent-in-suit, which was assigned to Noise Free Wireless in April 2012.  7/3, Northern District of California, assigned to Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu, 4:2012cv03483.
