Uniloc [NPE] filed two separate suits against Depositphotos and Dreamstime.com, alleging that the defendants’ websites infringe a patent related to an integrated rights management and licensing system for storing, researching, buying, and selling intellectual property rights.  Uniloc has filed over 15 prior suits since September 2003 against over 80 defendants, including Activision Blizzard, Adobe, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Sony, and Texas Instruments.  Russell Reeder and Ramond Haynes are the named inventors on the patent-in-suit, which originated with Rightsline and was assigned to Uniloc Luxembourg in March 2011.  6/29, Eastern District of Texas, no judge yet assigned, 6:2012cv00423; 6:2012cv00424.
