Domaine Associates [NPE] and Florida Atlantic University Research Corporation (FAURC) filed suit against AOC International, Envision Peripherals, TPV Electronics, and Top Victory Electronics, alleging that the defendants’ computer monitors infringe a patent related to an adaptive scan conversion.  Domaine Associates and FAURC have filed two prior suits since June 2012 against Acer and ASUS.  According to the complaint, FAURC works with external sponsors to arrange royalty-generating licenses.  The complaint identifies Domaine as the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit.  6/29, Southern District of Florida, assigned to Senior Judge Kenneth L.
